    'everyday' versus 'every day'

I'm very confused using the two terms: everyday and every day

When we do something each day, we use 'every day'. e.g. I brush my teeth every day.

'everyday' is used when we do something daily. So, basically, we can say: I brush my teeth everyday.

    Can we?

    Re: 'everyday' verses 'every day'

The word "everyday" is used as an adjective. Example:

    It's an everyday occurrence.

In your examples you used two different terms the same way. You got it right the first time.

Your title should use versus (meaning "as opposed to"). Verses are parts of a song or a poem, or sentences in the Bible.

I've changed it, lest other students should think 'verses' is correct.
