    long distances.

Do you often travel by air?
*No, not really; I enjoy visiting places very much. But, I don't have much money to travel by air. For overseas travel, I definitely have to travel by air, but like in America, you might have to travel by air even between states, but I'd rather go by car for long distances.

Does "distance" have to be plural or singular in this case?for long distances.

    Re: long distances.

Use the plural 'distances', because you're referring to multiple travel occasions.
