allot most of our time (to)

What place you traveled to did you enjoy the most?
*My favorite destination is the UK. I want to experience other cultures and the lovely sights. We allot most of our time (to)just tasting the local food, going sightseeing and taking a picture.

Do you need "to" here or not?allot most of our time (to)

You omitted two spaces. Can you see where they are missing?

    The preposition is required.

Do you only take one picture?

    '... sightseeing and taking photographs'.

Re: allot most of our time (to)

It seems that two spaces are missing before and after the parenthesis. I'm sorry I didn’t care about it. It was meant to indicate that it could be added to let the original writer know. I wasn't sure if it was correct but just thought of it as a possibiility. This is a correction for practice not a work to be submitted, so sometimes I don't have much time to make writings look like a finalized one.
