(1) What does he want ?
(2) How old is he ?
(3) What is happening ?
(4) What day is today ?
In (1), he is the subject and what the object. As for 2-4, I am not very certain as to which is the subject and object when the "is" verb is involved. Can anyone help me out ?
Thanks
Gavin
