    In this coming five years,...

In this coming five years, it is important that we must practise day by day without fail so that our yearly objectives and monthly plans will be achieved.

In order to achieve our objectives in the coming five years without fail, first and foremost, it is important to establish a strong foundation for the Hokkeko organisation.

The above is from a Nichiren Shu Buddhist magazine.

Shouldn't it be these instead of this?

    Thanks.

Yes. 'In the next five years' would be more natural.

And "it will be important to practice" and "plans are achieved" would be better.
I'm not a teacher. I speak American English. I've tutored writing at the University of Southern Maine and have done a good deal of copy editing and writing, occasionally for publication.
