...there is one guidance that he will definitely be given.

Every time when a new chief priest of any local temple in every country of the world is being appointed, there is one guidance that he will definitely be given.

That is, “To be fully aware of the responsibility as a priest of Nichiren Shoshu, in your respective country, protect the temple, give guidance in faith and practice to the believers of the respective region without forgetting proper decorum between each other, and strive hard every day together for the further progress towards kosen-rufu.”

The above is from a Nichiren Shu magazine.

Is one guidance OK? I wonder because guidance is an uncountable noun.

    Thanks.

No. The whole thing is badly translated.

    Thanks, Rover.

    1. What words would you replace one guidance with?
    2. What are your suggestions to improve the text?

Having read the answer to your above question, I think 'one piece of advice' is grammatical.
    I am not a teacher.

    Thanks, Matthew.

I forgot completely. Must be due to aging.
