    a teacher's project

    Hello!

What does a teacher's project mean?

It was used when talking about movies:
    - "Inconvenient Truth,'' ''Waiting for Superman," a great
    teacher's project
    , amongst others.

I would think so too, but that phrase is adressed to an adult filmmaker, so this is why it bothers me.

Iryn, that video is over half an hour long! I don't want to watch the whole thing. Tell us in minutes and seconds where the phrase is so we can hear it in context!

It might say "a great teacher's project," or it might be a movie title.

It's at about 10 seconds into the clip. The interviewer is listing some of the films that Davis Guggenheim has made.

I think he says "the great Teacher's Project". The filmmaker being interviewed did a couple of movies about teachers and teaching. His production company which produced them was also called the "Teachers Documentary Project', and had a tagline about "inspiration being the greatest teacher".

Charlie Bernstein, I'm really sorry you thought I would've made you watch the whole video instead of sending a link to the part that starts off with the same word which was given in my post.

That's okay, Iryn! I saw 34:02 and assumed the worst.

And it's not good to assume. We have an old saying in English:

When you ASSUME, you make an ASS of U and ME!
