Smile She's in a right old flap about it

Hello. Would you please explain the underlined sentnece for me?
Does it mean "She's worried about it too much"?
    Thank you.

----from a children's book, Archie Green and Alchemist's Curse by D. D. Everest

"I've got this lucky brooch. It used to belong to my grandmother."
Bramble jangled the gold charm bracelet on her wrist.
    "I'm wearing mine," she said.
"Me too." said Thistle, showing off his silver ring with the orange gemstone.
"Mum thinks we're in danger. She's in a right old flap about it."
