    please credit if used.

    Hi,

This phrase came at the end of an instruction.

Does the phrase above mean "please recognize me If the instruction was useful for you?"

    Thanks

    Re: please credit if used.

I take it to mean, "If you use that 'instruction', please acknowledge the source (by citing) the original author/creator."
It's not a matter of you finding it useful or not.
