    Making a turn

    Hi there

I am wondering does it make sense when I say I am making a turn instead of I am turning ?

They mean the same thing in some contexts, particularly when referring to driving or turning a corner on foot.

John: I'm trying to get to your house. I'm in Bridge Street at the moment. Where should I go next?
Jane: Turn left/Make a left turn into Grange Road and my house is the third one on the right.

Note my corrections to your post. End every sentence with a punctuation mark. Your sentence starting "I am wondering" is not a question, it's a statement so it should not end with a question mark. You could have used a question mark if it was "Does it make sense...?, without "I am wondering".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
