    though, although

I'm often confused whether to use though, although, however, anyway or nevertheless.
Could anybody please explain me the differences, especially the difference between though and although?

    Re: though, although

Please provide some sample sentences showing how you think they should be used.
“Every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud, adopts as a last resource pride in the nation to which he belongs; he is ready and happy to defend all its faults and follies tooth and nail, thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.”

    And don't forget but.
I'm not a teacher. I speak American English. I've tutored writing at the University of Southern Maine and have done a good deal of copy editing and writing, occasionally for publication.

    Your link works now, thanks.
I'll come up with some examples tomorrow, am a bit busy right now.
