at the bed of the pond?

How do you describe the location of the coins? Can you say The coins are at the bed of the pond? Or At the bottom of the pond?

Re: at the bed of the pond?

"At the bottom..", "on the bottom.." or "on the bed.." of the pond would all be correct. "At the bed of the pond" is not correct.
I'm not a teacher of English, but I have spoken it for (almost) all of my life....

Re: at the bed of the pond?

That looks like a fountain, not a pond.

They are at/on the bottom of the fountain.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
