I heard It doesn't get any better. It gets worse and worse, ... as the days go on. I'll be interested to see what a Brit heard there.

Thank you very much. I think a Brit would hear the same, because even ME heard the same now that you have deciphered it.

    Say:

because I heard the same word after you deciphered it

But then it might sound ambiguous, as if I consider myself to be a Brit, won't it?
How should I emphasise the fact, that 'even I could hear it, to say nothing of Brits'?

I've been waiting for a Brit to join the thread! Do you hear a word where I typed an ellipsis here? It gets worse and worse, ... as the days go on. I think she says something there which I can't decipher.

Re: What does the girl say?

She has a strong Scottish accent. To add to your confusion, she uses the grammatically incorrect "worser and worser" so what she actually says is "It gets worser and worser as the days go on".
What you can hear between the second "worse" and "as the days go on" is the extra syllable she adds in order to say "worser".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Re: What does the girl say?

I agree. The second syllable in the first 'worser' is almost non-existent, but it's pretty clear in the second,

So I did hear another syllable, but it wasn't another word. I never would have caught that. I listened again, and with my ear "primed", I clearly heard worser and worser.
