    cushioning

    This is about a new shoe which involves a special kind of cushioning. I'm not sure about this sentence:

    "This is a new shoe in which a new cushioning was processed."

    Can you say: "a" new cushioning? Is the verb "processed" appropriate?

    This shoe has a new type of cushioning.
    The shoe comes with a newly invented / innovative form of cushioning.
    A new form of cushioning was developed for this shoe.
