Hello

Do the bold words fit the sentence?

You need to improve your pronunciation, otherwise Your mispronunciation causes you to stumble/falter in speaking.

Thank you

Hello and thanks for your reply.
Is there any other way to say the sentence, say, using the falter or stumble or something like them.

You can falter but not stumble when you speak. Try this for word usage: www.fraze.it

Both "stumble" and "falter" are used to describe speaking, but they can have slightly different meanings.

As the Oxford online dictionary says, to stumble means to make repeated mistakes when speaking.
See definition 1.2 with examples.
http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/us/definition/english/stumble

To falter means to speak in a hesitant or unsteady voice. Of course this problem can also be a part of stumbling while speaking.
Definition 1.1: http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/us/definition/english/falter

However, neither of your examples sounds quite natural as you have phrased them.
More likely is something like: "You need to improve your pronunciation when speaking. You can't keep stumbling along like that."
