monkey around, fool around, goof around, or something else

No monkeying around while on the stairs. You don't want to fall and hurt yourself. Either come down here or get back up there.

The child is jumping, making faces, and singing made up songs while on the stairs.

Should it be monkeying around, fooling around, goofing around, or something else?
    Not a teacher.
