    I had him.

"I had him." Does this mean "I caught him" or "I grabbed him?"

can we also say "I have him" or "I have had him for the last five minutes?"

    Please check.

    Re: I had him.

We can't tell from one short sentence in isolation.

I saw it in a movie. Two guys were chasing a guy and then suddenly one guy manages to get a hold of him. Then he gives a shout to his partner "I had him".

You didn't say that the guy they were chasing got loose. That certainly seems to be what happened. The one guy saying "I had him" indicates that. Otherwise he would say: "I've got him!"

    Re: I had him.

It would make sense for the man to shout "I have him" or "I've got him" if he is still in control of the person he was chasing. If he caught the person but then the person got away again, he could shout "I had him!" It means "I had him but now I don't have him!"
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
