please check

My curiousity has landed me somewhere where I shouldn't have. That was the worst experince I ever had in my life.

Please check if the above sentences make sense. Can I replace the word "landed" with some other word. I think the word "landed" seems little awkward here.

Note my corrections above.

"Landed" is OK. You could use "taken".

Note the change in spelling from "curious" to "curiosity".

Re: Quote

Landed sounds good to me, you could use brought too. It's not clear whether we are talking about a current situation or a past situation because you switch tenses from present perfect to simple past. One possible way to write the sentence is like this:

My curiosity landed me somewhere where I shouldn't have been. That was the worst experience I (had) ever had in my life.
