    Wink puff out a candle

Does one blow out or puff out a candle? Which is the correct word to use in this instance?

    Re: puff out a candle

I either blow it out or snuff it out. The first can only be done with the mouth. The second can be done with your fingertips or with a candle-snuffer.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
