    If I went in the dark, I would be killed by a ghost.

    "When I was a Kid. I used not to go in the dark. I used to think if I went in the dark, I would be killed by a ghost."

    Please check the use use of if, would clause.

    The 'if / would' part is OK.

    You shouldn't capitalise 'kid' and there shouldn't be a full stop after it either.
