    and so on

    Hello teachers,

In the following sentence, can "and so on" be used for people? I tried looking up dictionaries and the Internet but could not find any examples:

Women were also respected and praised as good learners by work colleagues, driving instructors, and so on.

    Thank you!

    Re: and so on

It would be more natural, in my opinion, to say something like 'Women were also respected and praised as good learners by colleagues, driving instructors, and others who worked with them'.
