    I work for the NHS.
    Which/ what bed he or she is on? Please explain to me the grammar for its correct usage? Thanks in advance.

    I work for the NHS is fine.

    Write Which bed is he/she in. Note that the subject "he" or "she" and verb "is" are inverted in questions: She is in this bed. Which bed is she in?

    I'd say 'Which bed is he in?' or 'Which ward is she on?'
