These chandeliers are among the most beautiful in the Hermitage

    Dear friends,

Have a look at the sentence:

    1) This chandelier is one of the most beautiful in the Hermitage museum

Now I'd like to perephrase the sentence a little bit and use "chandelier" in the plural:

    2) These chandeliers are among the most beautiful in the Hermitage museum

Is it possible to say the 2nd sentence using "one" or "ones"? E.g., "these chandeliers are ones of the most ...."

    Thanks

No. One is, as its other meaning suggests, singular. Among works well.

No. Use: ...are some of the most...
