    Food got cold.

"My food was hot but it got cold as soon as I reached to eat it."

    Please check.

    Re: Food got cold.

I'd add a comma after 'hot', but it's otherwise grammatical.

However, it doesn't make much logical sense. How does hot food instantly cool as you reach for it?

It would make more logical sense to say something like "My food was hot, but it was cold when I finally reached for it."
