    A piece of advice

    Hello all users!

I have hit the panic button. The reason for my panic is that a group of English-speaking tourists is due to come to our little town. What should I start practising now so that they do not get the feeling that ancient English is spoken in our country. Maybe I should start with phrasal verbs and idioms.

If my question is appropriate (it is not about the language), any answers would be highly appreciated.

When will they come? How much time do you have?

You don't need to panic. They'll be very pleased to meet someone who speaks English as well as you do and I can't help feeling that none of them will speak Polish, so I can't imagine they'll complain.

They are coming to see your country — not to evaluate your standard of English — and will appreciate your efforts to make them feel welcome.

They will come in a month's time. Some of them may be able to speak Polish. Who knows.
