    we visit X since

    Hi,

    ''We visit my parents every week since we bought the car'' (p 513).

    I took the sentence from Swan's Practical English Usage. I'd like to ask if it is also OK to use a present perfect progressive instead of the present simple:

    We have been visiting my parents every week since we bought the car.

    Yes. Your version is much more natural than Swan's.
