    The court ordered the newspaper

    I am wondering if my sentence is correct. Would you please correct my mistakes?

    The court ordered the newspaper to pay damages to a singer whom it wrongly accused of drug abuse.

    It is, as GS said, correct. Many speakers of BrE would use 'who these days. In conversation, we'd drop 'whom(m)it' altogetter.

    I might use "who" instead of "whom" or drop the word altogether (as above).
