How to Move on from C1 to C2 in English?

    Hello,
I have recently attended a level C1 course in English (although I have some doubts about whether I am really on level C1 now), but I do not know how to move on. The more advanced I got, the more difficult it became for me to define a goal that was not too general and unspecific. When taking the step from A1 to A2, there was a "common basic scheme" underlying nearly all language courses I could find. It included very well-defined tasks, such as learning how to use the past simple or knowing a basic vocabulary by heart. Thereby I could easily orientate myself. On level C1 this is much more complicated as your language skills just have to get better as a whole it seems.
Could anybody who has already mastered the step from C1 to C2 (or maybe from B2 to C1) give me some advise on that? Can you recommend certain course books, vocabulary decks on Anki or other techniques? I'd be happy to receive some ideas from you! 🙂
    Thanks,
