    Sybaritic life

I have tried to use "sybaritic" in my sentences. Would you please correct my mistakes?

    1. David was a shiftless man who led a sybaritic life.
    2. After years of sybaritic existence, Anna decided to marry, have children, and find an ordinary job.
    3. John's sybaritic way of life ended abruptly after the tragic death of his children.

    Re: Sybaritic life

I would put an "a" before "sybaritic" in the second sentence. Otherwise, no change.

I suppose you could describe a visit to a spa as a sybaritic experience.

I wouldn't think you could say a father has a sybaritic lifestyle.

    Re: Sybaritic life

I have a fairly large vocabulary, and I have never heard this word before. It's a good word, but don't be surprised if most people don't know what it means.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
