Student or Learner
Are the following sentences grammatically correct?
"Chloe is in the supermarket buying groceries. She receives a call from Mark."
I am not a teacher.
If she were in the supermarket buying groceries when the call came in, I would be inclined to join the two seemingly unconnected sentences:
Chloe is in the supermarket buying groceries when she receives a call from Mark.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
