    U or U R?

    Hello teachers and everyone,

Here are the sentences I want to know the differences :

    1) You wasting time
    2) You are wasting time(Is it correct?...or should I tell as you are wasting my time?)

Which one do you use naturally?

    Hi Fazzu:
You are wasting time is the correct one. You cannot say, 'you wasting time'. Because, the continuous verb takes the following form:
    subject + verb
In our case, subject (you) + verb (are wasting)
Here, you cannot write 'wasting' without 'are'.
    Hope it helps.

    In addition,

wasting time, the deliberate act of wasting time instead of working.

You are wasting time. <time in general>
You are wasting your time. <your own time>
You are wasting my time. <someone else's time>
You are wasting his time/ her time / their time / our time.

you are contracted to you're sounds like your, which is why these two phrases sound alike:

[1] Present continuous: You're wasting time.
    Subject: You
    Verb: are wasting

[2] Gerund: Your wasting time is driving me crazy.
    Subject: Your wasting
    Verb: is
