    We can't always "decide" how things will turn out. We can decide to take actions which we hope will lead to our desired outcome.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Things here means the things that happen in our lives. I wrote thing instead of things (typo error). Can we use "thing" with this meaning?

    When I read 'the thing' in post#1, I guessed it was an object such as a device designed to do something.
