    Are there any grammar mistakes in this sentence about mysql?

    NOTE this is mysql only solution
    This works because in mysql you're allowed to not aggregate non-group-by columns in which case mysql just returns the first row.

    You'd certainly need a comma before the second in. It doesn't make much sense to me, but I have no expertise in the area.

    I'd write the following, but I'm not sure what it means either. I suppose it just returns the first row of each of the non-aggregated columns.
    "This works because, in mysql, you
    don't have to aggregate non-group-by columns - in which case mysql just returns the first row."
