Hello there,
I was wondering if you could help me.
Why is in this question
''What caused tensions between the three man and the guide?"

'' Tensions'' and not '' tension''?

Thank you very much in advance

Re: Tentions

Quite simply, there is more than one cause of tension between them, hence tensions.

Do you mean, "Why is 'tensions' in this sentence, and not 'tension'?"; "Why is 'tension' in the plural in this sentence?"

Thank you.
Yes, that's exactly what I was trying to ask.
Is ''tension'' single countable noun?
