A midnight phone call wakes him up.

    Hello

Is the following sentence grammatically correct?

"Fred is sleeping in his bed. A midnight phone call wakes him up."

    Thanks

There are two sentences. They are both grammatically correct.

Note that there should be a full stop after both "Hello" and "Thanks". Even a one-word sentence requires a closing punctuation mark.

Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
