Here is the original. "You are legally obligated to comply fully with any investigation."

Which of the following are idiomatic, correct and in the same meaning as the original?

1) You are legally compelled to comply fully with any investigation.

2) You are legally forced to comply fully with any investigation.

3) You are legally obliged to comply fully with any investigation.

Thank you.

Number 1 is most idiomatic. Number 3 is okay. Number 2 is unidiomatic. They are all grammatically correct.

Can number 1 be more idiomatic than "the original" ?

Thank you.

I'd say 3 is most common here. 1 is OK. 2 is not.
