    (a) living creature

    Another problem with articles!

On Being a Person: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Personality Theories

"The relation of a person to a person also includes the relation of a body to a body and of living creature to living creature"

Why there's no article before 'living creature'?

I do not know. But I have two more quotations.

"The Headless Horseman" by Mayne Reid:

"There was a motive that had urged him on, unknown to Phelim - unknown to Castro who carried him - unknown to living creature, save himself."

"Daughter of the Forest: Book One of the Sevenwaters Trilogy" by Juliet Marillier:

"Nor will you tell your story in pictures, or letters, or in any other way to living creature"

    Re: (a) living creature

You have got the name of the author of "The Headless Horseman" wrong. Please check again and edit your post accordingly.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
