Hello.I

In the previous years, the shipyard performed class repairs to the following ships: A, B, C and D.

Given the fact that the phrase "In the previous years" is used, I would expect to use Simple Past tense rather than Present Perfect tense.

What do you think?

Unless the time span had been previously specified, "the previous years" is incorrect.

It's unclear what the context for this sentence is, so hard to suggest a best alternative. Perhaps 'In the past, the shipyard has performed class repairs to the following ships: A, B, C and D.'
