to refuel or to receive fresh fuel

    Hello.

I would like to say that fresh fuel will be poured into (tanks of) a ship.

    Which is better to say:

    1. A ship will be receiving fresh fuel.
    2. A ship will be refuelling.

In my opinion, variant 2 is better. However, I may be wrong.

    Thank you.

    I'd use the second.

Or "A ship will be refuelled".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Re: to refuel or to receive fresh fuel

We normally used the active, intransitive version in my sea-going days.
