Carl, let's focus on the main issue

    Hello

Are the following sentences grammatically correct?

"Carl, let's focus on the main issue! Assuming the visit of the spirit actually happened. What did it said?"

    Thanks.

    What did it say?
“Every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud, adopts as a last resource pride in the nation to which he belongs; he is ready and happy to defend all its faults and follies tooth and nail, thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.”

    Why did you capitalize "let's"?
    I am not a teacher.

Re: Carl, let's focus on the main issue

It shouldn't be capitalised. It comes after a comma.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
