1. 'Don't dump the house with unnecessary things.'
2. 'Don't dump unnecessary things in the house.'
Are both of them correct?
"Dump" is not a good word to use and it implies the things are brought in in a big load and dropped in the house, as in dumping rubbish.
I would say: Don't accumulate unnecessary things in the house.
