    aspects/facets/perspectives/effects

    Hello!
Would you be so kind to help me with one question bothering me a lot?

Are the following phrases "positive and negative aspects of", "positive and negative facets of", "positive and negative perspectives of", positive and negative effects of" equal in their meaning?

    Thanks in advance!

No, they are not equal in meaning. It depends what follows 'of'.

    Please write complete sentences.

Okay, I'll keep it in mind. Thanks.

"positive and negative aspects of work", "positive and negative facets of work", "positive and negative perspectives of work", positive and negative effects of work"

The first three have some similarity, but 'effects' means nothing like the first three.

    Thanks!
So, If I decide to use "positive facets of work" or "positive perspectives of work" as synonymic phrases for positive aspects of work, won't it be wrong?

"Positive aspects of work" is a lot more common than the other. I wouldn't use "positive perspective".

    "Synonymous", not "synonymic".
    I am not a teacher.

    Thanks a lot!
I wasn't sure about "positive perspectives of work" either and, honestly, I didn't like it as a synonym very much. I like "positive facets of work" though.
I gave a second thought to "positive effects of work" and now agree that it is something different.
Would you tell me how different "positive facets" and "positive aspects"? Is there a big difference?
