Question When is Christmas Day? It is (on) 25th December.

Hello! Can you help me, please?
If I had to answer to such questions
    "When is Christmas Day/Valentine's Day?",
which would be the correct form?
"It is on 25th December" or "It is 25th December"
"It is on 14th February" or "It is 14th February"
I have some doubts; for example, when I'm asked about my birthday, I answer "It is on 15th September" and "on" does sound natural to me, but in the previous sentences I can't choose the right options: are they both acceptable?
I'm referring to the written form (British English), not to the way you read the date; I mean I read as follows : "It is on THE twenty-five OF December"
    Thanks a lot beforehand!!!

Re: When is Christmas Day? It is (on) 25th December.

Christmas is the 25th of December. My birthday is the 4th of July. Valentine's Day is the 14th of February.

Re: When is Christmas Day? It is (on) 25th December.

Thank you! But do you think that the use of "on" is completely wrong?
    From a grammar book:
    "October 31st (subject)is Halloween"
    But
"Halloween is on 31st October (time expression)"
Don't you agree? Thank you again!
So I should use "on"; don't you agree?

Like many BE speakers, I write 'We celebrate Halloween on 31st October'; I say 'We celebrate Halloween on the 31st of October'.

However, there are several different ways of saying and writing dates.

Is it some kind of AE and BE difference if you say October the 31st or the 31st of October?

AE normally puts the month first; BE normally puts the number first, but it's not an inflexible rule.

Yes I know, but is this also common in daily speech?
And thank you for the other topics.

Re: When is Christmas Day? It is (on) 25th December.

I chop and change willy-nilly between the word orders. Sometimes I say my birthday is on "April the tenth" sometimes I say it's on "the tenth of April".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
