    I hope he has finished whitewash.

    I would like you to imagine that there is a person who is doing the whitewash at my house. I go out somewhere and on my way back to my home I say to myself "I hope he has finished the work."

    Please check.

    See above for my suggested way of writing this. Please don't just write a new post copying my words. Simply look at the changes I have made and ask for clarification if there is anything there you don't understand.
