Big TV took a lot of space to settle.

"In old time people had very big TVs. Those TVs bodies were very big but the screens weren't. They had a very big rear part and they were very big if you looked them from the sides as well. They took a lot of space in the room to settle down."

    Please check.

Try perhaps, "in the old days."

Re: Big TV took a lot of space to settle.

In the old days, TVs were enormously wide and deep but they had tiny screens.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
