Especially in plains and plateaus, where 90% of the population is located.

Especially in plains and plateaus, where 90% of the population is located.

In the above sentence, 90% could refer to plateaus alone, or plains and plateaus combined.
How do I remove the ambiguity?
Also please tell me how to structure the sentence to make it clear that in cases: a) I'm referring to both plains and plateaus.
    b) I'm referring only to plateaus.

    Thank you.

MeyaN, I have changed your thread title. Titles should include some/all of the words or phrases your query relates to.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Such ideas are practised, especially in plains and plateaus, where 90% of the population is located.

By the way, is the full sentence needed? Does it change how the later part of the sentence is interpreted?

Thank you. I'm wondering which title did I keep before. I'm unable to recall. Could you tell me that, please.

Right. Now tell us please where you read this sentence.

By the way, is the full sentence needed? We always want full sentences.

Does it change how the later part of the sentence is interpreted? It does — in 90% of cases.

    Thank you for the correction.

That is a doubt as to how to structure sentences in different cases as described to convey what I mean without any ambiguity.

I think the OP has taken no notice of the following:

    I did Matthew.

I didn't read it anywhere. That is a doubt as to how to structure sentences in different cases as described to convey what I mean without any ambiguity.

    Thankyou.
