Please accept my apologies should this appear inappropriate at this place...

    Is the following sentence correct?

Please accept my apologies, should this appear (OR: occur) inappropriate at this place (OR: here).

By the way, I do not know if it is necessary to replace "this" with "the following" because it is what follows which could appear inappropriate.

    Thank you.

Remove the comma after "apologies". "Appear" is OK although "be" is more natural. Use "here", not "at this place".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
