a knife with a sharp edge vs a knife with a sharp blade

Are the expressions below correct? If "yes" is there any difference between them?

    1. a knife with a sharp edge
    2. a knife with a sharp blade

Re: a knife with a sharp edge vs a knife with a sharp blade

Well, technically, the knife has a blade and that blade has a sharp edge. However, in all practical contexts, both sentences would probably be taken to mean the same thing.
(Without a sharp edge, the blade/knife wouldn't be much use. )
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    In practical terms, they're interchangeable.

In technical terms, it's the edge which is sharp. Knife enthusiasts will refer to the steel's ability to 'keep an edge', meaning to remain sharp without frequent resharpening.
