    Smile died and was forgotten

    Is there any idiom in english on someone died an nobody is sorry oan care about it. Помер Никодим, ну и х*й с ним! - Nikodim has died and so be it (nobody gives a s**t about it).

    It's not an idiom, but you could say any of the following:

    Nobody will miss him.
    His passing wasn't noticed.
    Nobody mourned him.
    He won't be missed.

    The Russian phrase in post #1 is not an idiom at all. It's a terrible insult.

    It's arguable. Some people say that the phrase is even neutral because initially it has been saying as "Бог/черт с ним" [God with him = Hell with him] and the offencive word changes a little.
