    "write to us" VS "write us"

    Which sentence is correct?
    1. Please write to us as soon as you get there.
    2. Please write us as soon as you get there.

    BrE doesn't use "write to us/me/him/her/them" without the preposition. I believe AmE uses it. In BrE, only sentence 1 is correct.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Both are correct in AmE.
